POSH Furniture & Interior Ltd. Signs Landmark Contract with UNDP-Supported “Activating Village Courts in Bangladesh Project – Phase III”

We are proud to announce our active involvement in the "Activating Village Courts in Bangladesh Phase III" project, a significant initiative led by the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives (MoLGRD&C). This project is being financed and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), aiming to strengthen the judicial system at the grassroots level across Bangladesh.

Scope of Work: Under this agreement, Posh Furniture & Interior Ltd. will produce, supply, and install a complete set of Ejlas furniture and fixtures across 140 Upazilas of Bangladesh. Each set is designed to meet the official standards of village court infrastructure, supporting fair and efficient local justice delivery.

Our production scope includes:

1.     Ejlas Platform – 140 units

2.     Ejlas Railing – 140 units

3.     Wooden Dock (Kathgora) – 140 units

4.     Ejlas Table – 140 units

5.     Wooden Chair with Armrest – 700 units

6.     Oath Plate – 140 units

7.     Red Cloth (Red Salu) – 140 pieces

8.     Wooden Bench with Armrest – 280 units

9.     Wooden Table (for Village Court Assistant) – 140 units

10.  Wooden Chair (for Village Court Assistant) – 140 units

Delivery & Implementation

The full set of Ejlas furniture will be distributed and installed across 140 Upazila Parishads, ensuring that every village court has the required furniture setup to conduct fair and accessible justice for rural citizens.

Our expert logistics and installation teams will manage the end-to-end delivery process—maintaining strict timelines, quality standards, and compliance with all safety and administrative requirements.
